Yamaha Thundercat YZF 600 - SAVE YOUR MONSTER!!!
Selling my Thundercat, which I bought after selling my old M600, and then decided about 3 months later I really wanted another monster, an so bought an S2R 1000!
The bike is by no means "mint", but is a good runner, with loads spent in the last 3 months (see below). Few scrapes and scratches, some paint coming off from inside the fairings etc. If I could afford to insure 2 bikes, I'd keep this to save my Monnie from the winter commute, but not having a garage it hitting my premiums, and a multibike policy is not an option. I bought it for £1100 earlier this year, have spent close to £700 in that time (see below), but will take £1000 from a member here. 1997 R-reg 40k miles (not high for a Thundercat!) Solid engine and gearbox, pulls smoothly and changes gear nicely Custom twin exit exhausts Datatool 3 alarm/immobiliser Datatag secure marking K&N filter New DID x-ring chain and sprockets New brake pads and calliper rebuilds all round Refinished swingarm Decent tyres Double bubble screen R&G crash bungs (frame protectors) Heated grips Some history and previous MOTs Last edited by steeevvvooo; 21-08-2009 at 09:33 AM.. |
