Fuel level sender - early carb bike
Probably a slim chance but does anyone have a working fuel level sender (for the warning light) for an early carbed bike they wish to sell please? Mine has just given up the ghost!
Thanks, Goofle. |

It could be different as the SS models have an internal electric fuel pump which is connected via the sender cable group.

Chris's sender would fit an injection Monster, but you would have two redundant cables going into the tank, However I don't think there would be a live feed to connect to on a carb bike, so the cables would be dead anyway. Especially if you made sure only the sender cables were connected and not the pump cables.

So is the sender unit just a simple make / break switch please? As you say I don't need a fuel pump, just a open / closed switch for level.
