I'm back home from Spain and up for a blast - need to be back in Liverpool around 2.00 though so dependant on where the chosen route ends up taking us I might need to do an early bail somewhere en route.

Geoff - meet at yours for 9.30?

BSB Oulton Park

Well we managed to miss most of the rain on Saturday although not all of it and a good day was had, I hadn't appreciated what a good venue Oulton Park is, well impressed by the view from knickerbrook area, see below.

Not all good news I am afraid, Chris had an "off" whilst leaving the venue, coming off worse with a coming together with parking area delineation rope. Damage to bike and Chris minor but as usual not cheap. Hope all gets back to normal soon mate.

On that sad note a couple of photos to remind you of the good bits, October meet at the Lockgate is Sunday 7th. see you there.

Hi Folks,

Just a thank you for the turn out today, lockgate was followed by a ride to ellesmere and beyond, past the ponderossa through Ruthin and home. A cold start...think the ride outs may be numbered now but a good effort !

The assembled crew and Laura wishing Geoff a speedy recovery.....apologies for the quality of photo...cant get the staff !

Cunning plan revealed !

Morning folks, so next months regular meet will be a bit different, I thought with Autumn upon us and the weather changing for the worse we could do something indoors.

Phil Morris is well known in racing circles, especially in Wales ,check out his website "philmorrisracing", he also runs the road racing legends charity. He has an enviable bike collection that is well worth a gander.

So, with a big thanks to Pete who will be our guide, Sunday 4th November we get the chance to take a guided tour, meeting place is Whittington castle car park at 10:30.

To put Whittington on the map, we pass through it when we do the Ellesmere run from the lockgate. We can meet at the lockgate for 10.0 but as Laura only opens at ten coffee won't be an option! A swift ride to Whittington and job done, alternative is to go straight there and call at the lockgate after the visit.

Due to time of year cars may be the option on the day, I will keep in touch as we get nearer the day.
