Silkolene FST pro (ANOTHER thread)
How much do you put into a tank? Unless I’m being stupid, I can’t see it mentioned on the side!?
![]() I got two bottles today from M&P. Excellent service by the way... Parcel Farce sent them back after not being able to deliver, despite being give the full address, but M&P redelivered for free!! ![]() |

My old 6000 was a bugger for carb icing and I always used - 'a good splosh' - usualy about 200 ml a tank when it was particularly bad - freezing fog just above freezing point was the worst.
If you want to be a cheapskate - isopropyl alcohol aka surgical spirits in similar measures is equally effective and considerably cheaper. Have a look here - http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ad.php?t=21476 |

Certainly it's the best stuff sold speicifically for the purpose but have you ever tried using Surgical Spirits. TBH I couldn't tell the difference between the two (apart from the price) in my old 600 - waheey got that right this time!
