In my experience....
Jules M600 - around 130-140 miles My M900 - around 120 miles My M1000DS - anything between 70 and 100 miles depending if I'm in a hurry or not.

It's the only way to know for sure
All bikes vary as to mpg/capacity & when the fuel light activates

Quite hard riding on reserve about 18 miles, run out after the first few rides had to phone the wife to bail me out which both her and my wee girls loved

S4R light comes on between 85 and 100 depending on how hard it's ridden, done 112 miles with sweaty palms before fill up. Considering how angry the motor gets when opened up I am more than happy with 110 miles per tank.

I thought maybe 20 - 30 miles, i haven't had the bottle to find out!
As soon as the light comes on, i'm filling up at the next station, i don't want the hassle of running out. Interesting thread though, nice to know the comparisons between the various models. G : ) |

I've never left it more than 17 miles on my 695...strangely enough I always seem to be able to only squeeze in 12 litres into the 14 litre tank(even if I fill up after 7 miles
![]() And that's with commuting mostly between first and second, occasionly third gear so not caning it (not sure if that's better or worse for fuel economy?) |

Managed 30 miles out of my 900 once and just spluttered into the petrol station.
Never risked it since. |

No, me neither due to broken then condemned bike!! Usually though I fill up about every 100 miles (always set trip) as I have no idea whether the fuel light works or not and don't really want to risk it!!
