750 Battery Query

Evening all
Is a 750 battery different from a 600 or 900?
I’ve gone to purchase a new battery and been told they do batteries for 600 and 900 but due to terminal placement they don’t for the 750.

The only difference I’m aware of is that the earlier batteries are vertical, behind the carbs, and the later ones are horizontal, so should be the same as M900 of same year, so long as not injected.

Pretty sure the 600, 750 & 900 all have the same frame, battery box & tank etc. so I can't see there being any difference in battery fitment?

I seem to remember that if you have the terminals towards you the + is on the left for the 750, but on the right for the 900. That is the BS rather than the A2 terminal configuration.

I may be hallucinating or just suffering early senility.

OK everyone rush out and have a look!!

Without looking I can tell you that the +ve terminal is on the right hand side of the bike on a 900.

It would be just crazy to have it the other way given the position of the solenoid and engine Earth point.

Hope you're not wasting your money on something other than a Motobatt Miky?

Was looking at Skyrich, but thanks to Flip I was reminded of Motobatt and will be purchasing one tomorrow.

Well the Motobatt made my 750 jump into action just as quick as
I jumped with surprise. Best value for money spent on the bike so far IMO

Old thread I know, but the Yuasa battery on mine has given up. Looking through the rebuild invoices, it’s 4 years old and only about 3500 miles on it; lack of use I guess?
Motobatt will be bought as i usually buy these.
