Rosso Corse

They don't really need any more praise on here I am sure, but here I go!

A while ago Ray fitted a speedymoto top yoke, Woodcraft clip ons, brembo master cylinders and some Rizoma pots.

clipon and top yoke

clipons and top yoke 2

And then for last weekend, they fitted some lovely new rearsets.

rearsets right
rearsets right

and replaced the midpipe section (I think that's the right name) so that I no longer have the butterfly valve. And added a DUC.EE, so the servo under the seat can go too.

butterfly be gone

Oh and fiddled with the rear suspension.

All in all, it felt like a new bike when I picked it up on Saturday.

Well done Ray and Marcus. You have a customer for life in me.

Oh and thanks to Rob for a little bit of sorting out as well!

And I just got hit on the way in to work, and the idiot has snapped off both rear sets and bent the mid pipe and snapped the right clip on.

I might have broken a toe as he drove straight in to my foot, which is how the left rearset is broke, bike sliding on tarmac broke the right one.

Not happy

If any one has advice about what I should tell my insurance company with regards to all the bling I put on.

Will they cover this? I've spent a fair old amount on it, I've told them about the exhaust in the past but not the clip ons and rearsets.

Oh Bugger, sorry to hear, I am not 100% sure with the insurance but I would assume if you have not told them they would replace for standard, not sure though please check or someone will confirm,

at least your ok, apart from toe.

When someone hit me from behind I had all broken "bling" replaced like for like. Took ages to find termignoni replacements but we got there.

As long as you're not to blame, you should be fine regardless of standard replacement, as it's the other party's fault. Even if you did have problems you would be able to use your insurance companies' legal team or can speak to companies that specialise in this area - http://www.ridersupport.com - these guys were amazing and get other good reports on here too.

I use Ducati Insurance, whilst they won't neccesarily cover the cost of mods, I sent them a full list so they're aware of them and the polciy is is valid. In practice, replacing the custom parts is probably cheaper than the equivalent stock items anyway.
