Does anyone know the part number for the front brake master cylinder clamp with the mirror mounting on an S2R 800?

Not sure about right and left hand threads on the mirrors though. My coffin and Goldline mirror holes are all M10 rh threads as are the original mirrors from the Monster. However the rh mirror stalk is lh thread with lh locknut but screws into a rh M10 adapter. I've never seen the clamps marked right or left hand, and there only seems to be one part number. (except for the different colour.) If you're shopping for mirrors the only ones listed with M10 lh threads are for Yamahas.

I had the S2R 1000 and I have a friend with the 800; the ones listed above for the 1000 won't fit as the litre bike has horizontal clamps while yours are vertical.
The 800 clamps are handed with different part numbers: Brake 62640241A Clutch 62640291A They come with spare screws, if I remember correctly. |

As folk will reference this thread in the future for info on the clamps, could we just clarify if left and right hand threaded ones were only fitted to the S2R800?
My early coffin type (vertical split) and Goldline (horizontal spit) are definitely all right hand threads for the mirrors. The coffin types are not handed, but do come in non mirror boss form as well presumably for the SS models. The Goldline ones are handed in so much as that the clutch side one has a little boss with a hole to locate a peg on the fast idle lever assy. Non- mirror boss ones were fitted to the SS models (and presumably other faired models with fairing mounted mirrors?) These are also handed by the fast idle peg hole. Cheeky, but I'm looking for a pair of the SS non mirror bossed Goldline clamps. Please let me know if you have a pair to sell.. Or just the clutch side would be a start.. Cheers.

IIRC these are handed so if you need the brake side it willl be a different part number. One is a l/handed thread. For the S2R 800 I used the 1000sie fiche since they do not list that model separately. Presumably because the parts are the same as other models from the ones that they do list.

Can we assume that if the brake and clutch brackets have different part numbers then they are handed?
