It may come as a shock to you but people could talk whilst moving before mobiles were around.

Simply un wind your window, they do the same and lo and behold you can chat. And yes I have a manual window winder.

I did like the way you gave me a blank look at first, before look straight ahead for about 20 seconds before turning back!
