Problem with hi-level pipes
I have just fitted a set of Ducati Performance Hi-level pipes on my '95 M600.
The guy at sparesshack assured me that they would just fit on and the bike would run fine, no re-jetting etc.. I have fitted them and they look great but the bike will just about start, is rough on tick-over start and runs like a pig, missing and lumpy as hell with no power any ideas?? |

Hard to start normally means it's running lean - but I doubt just changing the pipes is going to cause that (although I believe the earlier Monsters were set up lean while the later ones run richer)... the EFi on Vman's EFi S4R can compensate for a typical pipe change (as did my 620's EFi), but carbs maybe a different matter... it might be worth getting it the fuel/air mix tested and set up properly?
