I'm sure Ford radiant red is darker than the current Ducati red, which is a bit more orangy IMO
Possibly too orangy for crows

1. Try asking RS to make up an aerosol?
2. Ford Radiant Red is not just one colour. Last time I bought it I was buying it in Du Pont base coat, and they had 7 'variants' of Radiant red. Each variant is almost indistinguishable from the next, but if you compare the first to the seventh then the difference is noticeable. Phone local automotive paint suppkiers to see who has shade cards for Radiant Red, and check they can make up aerosols. Take a panel from your bike along to the supplier, match to a shade card and order the paint. Please remember that the colour that paint appears in sunlight is dependant upon various factors, such as the colour of the primer or undercoat, the thickness of the coats of the colour and the number of coats, and even on the make and thickness of the clear lacquer if applicable. It's no surprise that invisible repairs are difficult when two panels painted from the same pot of paint may end up looking different. Hope this helps |
