1992 750ss for sale
Sadly, I have to sell my 1992 750SS to make way for another restoration. This is Zimbo's old bike but fully restored. It has no MOT as it has been on a SORN for two years. The bike has been started regularly and runs well. The tyres have done about 5 miles from new as I can't ride it (too short!). It comes with a full race fairing. I dread to think what it cost me to restore but I love it. I was thinking £3K or thereabouts but I am open to offers.
If there is a serious offer I am prepared to get it MOT'd. [URL="https://www.dropbox.com/sh/oz6nyopfbwvmanj/AAAXbpzeD3Wf9qe3h1_bQJQTa?dl=0[/URL] |

Looks beautiful! Do you have apic with it wearing the full race fairing too?

No, sorry I have not put the full fairing on the bike since I restored it. I could photograph the fairing panels tomorrow (Sunday) if it helps a sale

Thanks but I was just interested to see it - no plans to buy another bike!

Seeing that beauty I am encouraged to start as soon as possible (after the slow monster build is completed) with a nut and bolt restoration of my 1992 750 SS which is a bike I truly loved but got put against the garage wall about 10 years ago. I was too busy at work at the time to sort the electrics, (rectifier blown) and the carbs (seized pilot screws) and weeping clutch slave (integral to the clutch cover). That and the fact that it got knocked over in a bike bay in London and the tank got dented made me kind of lose interest but I could never sell it as it has too many memories of 4 trips over the alps for holidays in its homeland. If I had 3k spare and did not already own too many bikes I would snap it up - good luck with the sale.

Thanks. I replaced the carbs on this one with new ones. Because the carbs are exposed to so much road dirt everything seizes up eventually if they are not maintained.

Nice bike, I'm tempted but at the moment I've got enough bikes to manage/ride/service etc. and another would just further complicate things.
Good luck with the sale.

Good luck with the sale Dennis, you've made a beautiful job of restoring her.
Had you tried advertising it on ducatiforum.co.uk? |

Thanks. No I have not done that but I will give it a try. I am restoring a Norton Jubilee that is lacking quite a few cycle parts so if anyone has any for sale let me know.

Can I (rudely) ask why you are bothering to restore a Norton Jubilee (I assume you mean the 350cc twin) - just about the worst bike that ever left Birmingham - most of those broke down before they got to the city limits because of the horrendous vibration, Joseph Lucas - Prince of Darkness electrics and generally poor engineering /assembly.
