Bargain....?..(eBay, look away now if offended)

Nothing to do with me.. came up in a search on the bay....

.... this is either very special with lots of pure unobtanium parts.... or maybe a tad optimistic?

Not my cup of tea but someone has spent time and money on it!

That’s at least £3500 over priced!

Tricky one because of all the nice parts on it, if that's the exact bike/spec you want then it's probably worth the extra because it would cost you that to get a standard one to that spec. I don't know about the RR stuff but the DP wheels and clutch would probably come in around 2k.

I like the wheels.
They look the same as the ones on my 1000SSie.

But personally I've never liked the style of the Road Racing stuff.

I actually like that, except the dash, otherwise some nice kit on it, essentially it is a carby 900 one of the last as 2000 was the first year for i.e, however take away the wheels & exhaust its a pretty ordinary M900 got to agree with Ped though way over priced.

I agree Kato. That’s the first time I’ve seen that dash fitted with a fairing and it does look a lot better than without.

Wonder if the seller still has the standard bits as in my experience fancy custom bits don’t add to the resale value of a bike. It’s better to sell a standard bike plus a whole bunch of parts.

750 heads, plastic tank (No dents.. Nice try!) butchered frame and illegal number plate... Bargain I reckon even if you could get a tidy S4R or M1100 for that money?

Yep Okay too much as a motorcycle unless it is completely what you’re looking for but as we know bikes are seldom worth the sum of their parts so yep return it to standard(ish) and sell the rocking horse stuff separately.

I like the black and silver plate though- unless you’re running the correct size and font, properly spaced etc. illegal is illegal whatever, plus they look so much better than having a Bill-Board on the back
