Do you just need the plastic part that bolts below the tea tray? I may have one

I believe the bracket on mine is steel but it may be aftermarket, it mounts the number plate, reflector and the number plate light. It has seen better days, fortunately it's not really visible. I will have a good look at it tonight and get back to you. I will compare what I have to the parts book.

Had a good look tonight, what I need is the metal numberplate/reflector bracket that bolts to the tail of the mudguard that fixes under the tea tray. Mine has corroded rather badly, however if push comes to shove I think I could clean it up and repaint it.
This is what I need if anybody has one $(KGrHqR,!rQFGtVSq-mSBRzf0Ur3yg~~60_57.jpg Many thanks Russell |

Hi Russell
Had a dig in the garage tonight. I have a slightly butchered 'beaver tail' as Albie calls it. (It's been cut down to two holes and had a couple of extra holes drilled for a number plate light, it was used with a tail chop) Happy to throw it in the post or you can collect from London if it's any good to you. |

Thanks
Many thanks for the offer, My plastic "Beaver tail" is ok, (I learning all the monster jargon) It was the metal numberplate bracket and reflector bracket I was after. I have however spent the evening with a wire brush in an angle grinder cleaning up the brackets I have. I then coated them with some industrial cold galvanizing paint I got from work. My father is going to put a couple of coats of black enamel on them tomorrow for me. So I should be good to go for the weekend,
As an aside I replaced the old and well worn Pirelli Diablo Stradas that were on my bike today with a pair of Michelin Pilot Road 3's Initial impressions after a 50 mile break in ride are overwhelmingly positive I am genuinely grateful for all the offers of assistance, Many thanks again Russell |
