S4R radiator

I have a leak on my radiator near the fan, I’m probably going to send it to Aaron radiator to hopefully repair it.
What are my options if they can’t repair it?

Look for one at breakers; a new 916 one cost me over £500 new from Ducati over 20 years ago, so I dread to think what one would cost now.

I've seen these on ebay but have'nt got one, but they seem reasonable pricewise even with the added import tax.

I have been very impressed with the quality of the 'Cheap' radiator I brought for my 999:

Might be worth looking to see if they do one for your bike.

I popped the rad on my (your) s4rt a few years ago, a new one was £1200 +vat , how the hell do they justify these prices!
I got a second hand replacement from ebay & had the original repaired by a company around Birmingham

Ouch, that is steep even for Ducati. There's these but I don't see how you would mount the fans?

There's also this one but I think it is actually an ST4 one. There are no fan mounts and he covered and not showing the rear which then you could tell straight away because the fan mounts like a 916. The ST ones will fit but are not the same and only have one fan and no side holes for rad covers, so it's going to be a faff, but there are plenty cheap ST4 ones on the old Echo Bay! Some pretty manky though.

The old hoses were hard and the outer surfaces breaking up, so I didn't trust them.
The Samco Silicone hoses are a bit of Bling in Blue, but excellent quality.
They are available in Black, but I just fancied them in Blue.

Blue works Ok and they are extremely good quality those Samcos so much so that I did not change the white ones on my S4. Is that an aftermarket water pump or just a cover?

Matt Black painted original

The full story of the bike, and what it looks like now is here:

It's just too difficult to post loads of images on here to have kept the thread up to date.

Ok, nice bike that, it looks good. I know what you're saying all of my pics from photofukit appear to have been deleted too.

Thanks the replies all.
I’ve seen some H20 radiators online that sound good. Has anyone any experience with these?
This is my forever bike, so worried so much about cost.

When I went down to the Monster World record run at Paul Ricard with Stafford and Liz in 2017, there where a lot of custom bikes wearing H2O radiators.

You could try these guys?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394527342...mis&media=COPY

They do the 749/999 ones which aren't a great deal different to the s4 ones but the sides are square and have the threaded holes in but otherwise they are pretty much the same.
