Monster 620 S ie FOR SALE
Ok here goes...
- 2002 model - 2 previous owners - well looked after, always garaged when not in use, absolute pleasure to ride - taxed and Mot'd until July 2011 - sailed through last MOT - 20,100 miles Extras: - brand new Ducati Yuasa battery - Rizoma rearsets (£499 new) - Mivv GP exhausts, wide open - sound fantastic (silencers available) - R+G Crash bungs - carbon rear wheel hugger - carbon Monza belly pan - colour matched seat cowl - Competition Werkes tail tidy kit - alarmed - new rear wheel about 6 months ago - full service history - major service @ Rosso Corse London including belts/chain/sprocket/brakes 7/8 months ago Notes: - theres a very small dent on left of tank (see photograph), its not major and is fixable should you wish to. Quite far forward so not very visible. I think kids unlocked tank and bashed it off control bracket on handlebar. - will be sold with original mirrors only, not those in pics You are welcome to come and see/inspect/listen to the bike. If you want to try it out I need cash in hand before you disappear around the corner without coming back. Pick up only, cash/paypal or cheque. Cheque must clear before you collect. Its on eBay, worth a try, but I'd like to sell on here and would be more willing to negotiate. OFFERS ON A POSTCARD! Or a PM would do... Last edited by bex; 12-08-2010 at 11:08 PM.. |

Agree lovely bike, the mileage shouldn't put people off, My other halfs 620sie another 02 one has same mileage and going well. If looked after they look after you. And thats been to italy, Germany, France .
I have to be honest if i had some spare cash and circumstances wern't about to change in 8 months I would consider it myself as they are great bikes to have a laugh with, plenty of bits to bolt in. Even through the other half is not riding for now we won't be selling hers.. I won't let her. Great first bike and good for short legs... |

Hi George,
If I can sell for what I need to, I'll be getting another bike. If not I'll hold on for another year - its not like I'm unhappy at all with this bike. But either way, although its crossed my mind, I can't bring myself to give up biking just yet! |

My 620 has 36K on the clock and still goes fine, 20K is just run in.
Much better to buy a bike that's been used and serviced regularly than a 7 year old bike with 3K on the clock. |

It was more that people were getting to me convincing me I'm going to end up being scraped off a London street eventually!

I'd seriously put a reserve on your bike on eBay or it could sell for crap money !!! This us an extreme example but my friend brought a taxed and mot Vfr for 99p !!!!!! I actually wouldn't have had the nerve to just give the guy 99p for his bike!! There was no interest in it at all so he sat and bid a tenner last min.
You could and should get a good price but eBay is a funny world and if people see no reserve hmmmm . If your not sure about selling then don't list it as it's a contract you sell the bike even for £1000 it's tough luck you gotta sell it!! People also lurk looking for no reserve stuff as well. My bikes was sold as no way am I letting someone export it and I put that in the listing .,, who brought it exporters didn't tell me til afterwards .. You really should put a reserve on it to protect yourself and your bike it's sencible. You could say low reserve on bike .. No reserve is iffy.. If you just want shot then fine but if you want a decent price then go stick a low reserve on it also if it doesn't hit it buys you a bit more time to lull it over! |

Its advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to cancel, if the bidding is crap then I can take it off.
No reserve attracts people into bidding, its no harm done as far as I can see. |
