Bless her, perhaps she'd like a nice warm cover. And I hope it's the bike we're talking about

This winter I found that using 99 RON fuel helped with the whole starting/warming up thing. Now it is warmer, I have reverted to the cheaper stuff.

Theoretically without a knock-sensor our bikes shouldn’t notice higher Ron petrol, but regardless of this I always stick Shell V-Power in, because for the £2 extra a tank I get all the cleaning benefits (and any extra power if by any chance it does give any).

I certainly don't notice any extra power from the 99 RON. The better warming up and higher cost were the only differences. I shall be running standard fuel now the winter is over (hopes).

i got one o them - i use shell v-power and idle boost in winter , just the v -power in summer always seems to run sweeter with the higher octane!

Mine did for a while but thankfully she hasn't thrown a hissy fit being sent back to the garage but she does have a matching cover and now a broody hen to keep her company.
