Opinion needed. Colour choice.

I'm in need of your opinion, think old style 600 monster, think art nouveau, think tricolore. Thats the theme Shirl's going for on the make over this winter.

The bodywork will mainly be ivory
Accents in glittery green and deep cherry red with gold striping.
Gold wheels
Frame????

Would you think deep cherry red or gold like the wheels to do the frame???

Press your buttons now.

Spoiled ballot paper, I refuse to vote... it doesn't matter what others think only the bike's owner.

Gold sounds like a very interesting choice.

Why not just get a frame made out of real gold?

Oh, silly me ...the weight.

Slob, you are right but you know what it's like "make it look pretty" and 1. she can't decide, 2. I want to design it for her and I can't decide. each has its own merits.

Here's some images to help the brain.

Out of the two i prefer the gold to match the wheels........if i did go gold i think the matt finish similar to the early 916 types would look good, gloss finish gold would be way too much for me!!!!!!

But as slob said, who cares what anyone thinks just go with what you want...........did you consider yellow.......he he

Cheers,

Shandy

I prefer the gold. I nearly went that way myself to be similar to the new s4r tricolor scheme.

It has to be red just so people don't think you've nicked an old 916 frame. Looks good with the red swinger too!!

I've seen loads of coloured swingers but always single sided, i though it would be nice to do it to a double sider and go retro and be proud of it. Colour it just like sport classics and mike hailwoods tt 900.

Shirl has now said she's edging towards the gold so I put my vote on it to save her logging in.
