Another Essex Newbie!

Hi all, just picked up my new (well 06) 695 this morning! It's only done 800 miles, the previous owner traded it in for a scooter! I'm in Theydon Bois, and always up for ride out, family commitments permitting of course.

Been riding for 5 or 6 years now, had a succession of Jap bikes to now, so thought I'd try out the Ducati this time. Good impressions so far, but it was a bit wet and cold this morning.

Can recommend some good roads out to Finchingfield from around here. Maybe after work once the evenings get a bit longer and warmer.

Off to Burnham on Crouch this weekend with the IAM. Any other ELAM members on here?

Steve

Hi there and welcome, love the Burnham bends! Although as it's my birthday weekend I may well not be in a fit state to walk nevermind take a rip down the bends!

Might check out your neck of the woods at some point (Anything to get out of Southend)!

Welcome to the club and Italian bikes! There's the Ace Cafe Italian night next Thursday if you fancy a trip into town and round the north circular!!! Meanwhile Great Bentely is also a summer evening favourite - we made it there a few Tuesdays (I think it's Tuesday!) last year and filled ourselves with dubious looking burgers whilst oggling some rather tasty bikes!!! Hope to see you soon,

Cheers and happy riding,

Benson

Well done Nonnie - I will look into it and report back and post some dates for both Tuesday and Wednesday then if anyone feels a bit anti social they can go on the night it's not in.....
