Servicing in Northampton area

A bit of a **** first post, sorry...

I've just bought a 750ie (collected today) and looking in the service book, it's 3 year service is now due...

I want to keep the service history, but was scared when I saw the invoices from the previous services! This Ducati lark isn't going to be cheap.... is it worth getting it serviced at a Ducati dealer, or am I just as well to take it to a good independent?

If anyone's got any suggestions, it would be most appreciated.

I've used http://www.cornerspeed.co.uk/, SPR in Ruddington, Nottingham, NG11 6AT tel: 0115 921 6958 and http://www.bainesracing.com/

I've had very good service from all of the above although Baines was a few years ago but have no doubt they are still very good, but tend to use SPR the most as I only live round the corner

Cornerspeed is now an authorised Ducati Service Centre so you can keep full Ducati Service History, added to which Neil, the proprietor, is a top bloke who will give your bike the care and attention it deserves !

Yes I will agree with Logyk. I took my bike to Neil a couple of weeks ago and he fitted me in even though he was very busy at the time. A real gent!

Booked mine in at Cornerspeed too for its 6k on the 18/5. only done 3600m at the mo but I've got a busy month ahead!

Thanks for the tips, most appreciated. - Cornerspeed sound great but are quite a long way from me... I might have to try Ducati Aylesbury and see how I get on...

There was a post up on here the other day about new service centre's, one of which was in Melton Mowbray. Anyone know where the link is? Could you stick it on here for Pete?

Just found them! G-Tec are only 20 mins away and sound like they should know their stuff.

When I've got a license and can get the bike out of the garage I'll give them a try!

Try baines, I have used them for years. Don't be put off by John Baines manner he's ok really! They really know their stuff and they are only at Silverstone which is closer to you than Ducati Aylesbury.
