I’ll see what i can figure out, it may be a combination antivirus software and cookie handling

in firefox, click on the shield in the top left of the address bar and turn off tracking protection for ukmonster.co.uk, the shield should appear with line through it.
if that doesn't work try clicking on the 'burger' menu (3 lines), choose 'privacy & security' and click the 'manage data' button. search for "ukmonster", double-check the results only relate to ukmonster.co.uk, www.ukomnster.co.uk etc. (I can't imagine anything else will show up) and hit the 'remove all shown' button followed by 'save changes' |

did either of those things help jerry?
also have you tried edge (or chrome, if you have it installed) instead of firefox, to see if the same problem occurs |

i managed to recreate this problem in chrome too, and then fix it
it’s to do with the (any, not just chrome or firefox) browser trusting the url and subsequent cookie handling. in chrome, if you go to menu > settings > privacy & security, you can customise cookie handling any security (av etc.) software may also override this behaviour depending on its web protection settings |
