Took the Monster Plunge...
Hi There All So after about 3 years off bikes I treated myself in advance on the looming end of my twenties!! After a swapping my old gsxr 750 back when I was 21 for a bandit for self preservation then selling it due to become responsibl! Now a new bike was my preferred route a Monster 821 seemed a good fit. The spec on the Stealth tempted me but my first Ducati just had to be red....easy upgrade to a quick shifter is schedule with the run in service!! Picked it up a month ago after a very easy factory order, 312 miles later I love it!! Tailyidy and a few tweets like bar end weights, reflector removal, front fender extenda and tank pad are the only improvements so far. Would be keen to ride out with a few like minded Ducati fans. I’m Staffordshire based. Matt |

Lockgate isn't far for me really, a nice ride out. (I know this area well due to working that way a lot). I am away this weekend but I put the 1st December in the calendar.....not sure I will ride up...I am a warm weather rider!!! What time is it you meet? (Also I tried to upload a picture of the bike....obviously failed!! Forum learning to be done!!) |

Lockgate
Hi Matt, great news, December will be a good meet as its our 3rd anniversary so there will be cake !
Lockgate opens at 10:00 so we aim for 10:30 as a rule, by that time of year we are usually all in cars to be fair. Gritter was out last night and ice on the windscreen this morning so winter has arrived. Look forward to meeting you there, |
