I had the last one ever built, assembled by John Tickle. He exhibited it at the Earls Court show.
Also had a Seeley G50 at the same time, a more successful racer

That is a wonderful sound for sure.

I know several here are already hooked on classics but if this has whetted your appetite for such aural delights, then get yourself along to a classic race meeting next season where you can hear a grid-full of Manx's and G50's filling the air with the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone era of racing.

If I had the cash I would buy a Walmsley Matchless G50 in a heartbeat- I'm not good enough to race one but I'd love it for classic trackdays.
