Seat cowl finished

Just finished the seat cowl I got made for the s4 last year. I got a wee filler pad made for the gap between the seat and the cowl here's a few pics of the finished job.

I like that a lot, looks a treat, I can't live with the usual type. The filler piece makes it too.

With the cowl fitted to the seat I made a card board template use it to trace the shape onto 1/4" ply cut that out with a jig saw and took it to an upolsterer mate who covered it with 1/5" foam and a wee bit of leather and only charged me €5 for the job. Very pleased.

Looks good with pad and new paint... could almost be a factory option

Very retro

I will never ever understand the desire for the cafe racer look on modern bikes.

Arr but it takes all sorts to make this world go round :look at me and my desire to glitter ball my bike
The thing about a monster you can leave it as is.
The design is great.
Or it is a nice bike to make your own.
That's why I like them I love to see all the different takes on them.
