2024 Weekender.
Well! it would have been a wet one if anyone had organised one.
Funny thing is, when the weather is awful the camaraderie is always stronger and the tales taller. I'd normally make sure that my Monster was fully fettled and prepared for whichever May Bank Holiday weekend the big event fell on, and often arrive to park alongside all the other filthy Monsters having had a drenching on the ride in. This year with no sense of urgency or anticipation, my Monster is still dismantled and waiting for work to get her back on the road. Just wondered if anyone else is feeling slightly bereft at the empty calendar and has any ideas about how to fill it? Surely we need to pull our fingers out and try and sort something out for 2025, even if it's not a weekender as we used to know it.
