Cool Note to self!

When working on a bike that has been running ..................... do not use the high level link pipe as a way of helping yourself stand up!!!

Oh yes it was warm ...... luckly a tap was close by no damage just some minor swelling!!

Ouch, reminds me of the time in my shower room when I bent over to pick up a towel and my cheek caught the very hot towel rail.......

Ouch! I did an ankle on my FS1E exhaust 30 years ago.
I shouldn't have laughed (but couldn't help it) when a mate burnt his neck trying to listen to the tappets on a CX500 in the 80's

I'm glad I can't remember most of the occasions I have done things like that.
Till the next time.

Homer Simpson moments.

You shouldn't be putting that there anyway, even if the ladies love a minor swelling Yorkie

Melted the sleeve of my M1 jacket on the exhaust, whilst removing the disc-lock of my warming up triumph!

Yorkie - you plonker

My mate in NABD set his leg on fire on his Spondon GSXR streetfighter

He's in my club - Right leg above knee amputee. Chris was blatting along with some mates when one spotted smoke coming from the Spondon & flagged him down. Turned out his artificial leg was touching the high level pipe on the fighter, setting his trousers and leg alight. They managed to extinguish a smoldering Chris in time, and it's now a story of legend in NABD circles.

Goes without saying - he's a bit of a nutter
