Bird's eye views - Microsoft Local Live
If you want to waste a few minutes at work. This appears to be competition to Google Earth.
http://local.live.com/ When you type addresses, ensure you have UK at the end - otherwise it assumes you're in the land of Bush . Choose aerial view or 'bird's eye view' if you're in a major city - London is tres impressive. Might also be useful to scope out new roads. I did notice that my pics were a couple of years old, and this is still a beta release. Waste away.... Last edited by jill; 21-06-2006 at 04:13 PM.. Reason: wrong |

Pics of my parents house are showing a vehicle (red horsebox) I sold 5 years ago and my brothers red van he had 6 years ago.
However, home view is about 4 years old, determined by next doors footings for extension Still fun to check out tho C |

I agree. My picture is only a few months old as I've just cut down a couple of trees and they are missing from the picture. Plus I'm pretty much out in the sticks so surprised that the picture is so clear.

The pics of our area are really old - probably about 5 years. The pub opposite us is still there, instead of the new houses. Sniff.
Much better than Google Earth though. Top timewaster! |
