Exhaust fitment for different 1200 My years
Is the exhaust fitment for a 2014 1200S the same as a 2017 1200S?
And can anyone confirm that the R is definitely different? I am wondering if the SP Engineering exhaust for the 2017 model would fit my 2014 version... And if a Spark exhaust advertised for the R would fit my bike? ... Funding has taken a hit so I'm looking at the cheaper options now too... I like a Black Widow exhaust... But they don't have link pipe for it.... Hoes anyone know how much it might be to have one made? |

I know for a fact they are quite different. I've had both bikes - still got the 2017 M12S. I had a bespoke piece of pipework & bracket made to accommodate and fit my Remus Hypercone from the 2014 M12S I had. The footrest assemblies are very different / better.

I think the R and 2017 S share an exhaust...... So I guess I just need to know if either the 2016R or 2017S fit the 2014S?

I thinks it's one of your previous posts that had made me think about getting a link pipe made....
That way you can have the position exact how you want it. How did you go about getting one made? |

Anyone know if the 2016R and 2017S slip on exhaust fit the 2014S?

Nope, headers on the R are bigger than early S models

Yeah I thought that. It's just whether a slip on fits all years of the 1200?
