SportClassic/Sport 1000
I remember when these were like 4/5k 2-3 years ago and now I can only see one Sport 1000 for sale at 13k!
Will these prices ever normalise again? I'd love a Sport 1000 |

I doubt they’ll drop in price anytime soon, even the GT’s are now getting expensive.
But then lots of other models are also shooting up in price, I’ve been watching with some dismay the prices of sunbeam s7/8’s and are now getting almost out of reach of the casual/impulse buyer. I really ought to fix my three and a half before getting another bike though, that was bought cheap but then has sat in my garage for five years. If it’s any consolation the sc’s are the most uncomfortable bikes you’ll ever ride, why don’t you ‘cafe’ your monster, they work really well with clip ons and a few subtle mods, this is exactly what I was doing to my S2r when the sc range was released but I still like both bikes.

Agreed the SC's are uncomfortable, one hour in the saddle at a time is more than enough. However, I can happily admire for much longer with a comfy seat & a good coffee in hand!

I can understand the good coffee, but why do you keep a comfy seat in hand?

Some negative points are just what I needed to deter me haha
I'll stick to my 1:12 scale model of it and work on the Monster! They do look awesome, especially the scene in Tron |
