Carbon Fibre DP Silencers
Are the carbon fibre DP Silencers simply CF version of the standard cans or are they a genuine performance upgrade?
The silencers I’m looking at are currently on a 620i |

They are significantly lighter than standard cans, so would give some theoretical improvement in handling, braking and acceleration, though probably less noticeable than a crash diet for the rider.
The unbaffled "silencers" are less restrictive on gas flow, but without a change to air filter and preferably some better header pipes with a rolling road set-up of the fuel jetting you won't see a big change in torque or power.

they are totally different. i have some on mine. they are manufactured for DP by remus. they are pretty much straight through and mine dont have any obvious ways of fitting and securing a baffle however they are not stupidly loud. they are a lot quieter than the conti's i used to have. But doesnt have anywhere saying 'not for road use'

ha ha ha looking at that pic youd say it cant be a performance upgrade with them massive chicken strips! not making excuses but brand new tyres a week before the weekender and have only ridden long straight dual carriageways since.
that was an excuse wasnt it. |

I would have them but would have to change the Ducati graphic to old school.
