Jaunt in Europe

Just back from a Mini Tour of France/Belgium/Germany/Austria/Italy/Switzerland/France/Luxembourg/Belgium/France.

Wondeful roads - in 48 hrs we went over the Stelvio Pass (gazillions of hairpins - see pic for a few), the Simplon Pass and the Grimsel Pass!!!!
An experience I can thoroughly recommend.

Now where is it next weekend ?????? Oh yes ....the golf challenge at Skegness !!!!!!!!

The whole tour was 8 days during which we covered 2300 miles or thereabouts.....in 48 hrs we travelled over the Stelvio. Simplon and Grimsel Passes.

Still working on the hairpins ........they are all different ! But you get plenty of practice over there. The most scary thing was coming down the south side of the Stelvio and entering dark tunnels with water dripping from the roof and 90 degree turns in the middle ! Good for the concentration.

Can't wait to go back.
