Totally agree. Their service is great.

They were the only dealer in the South who were able to give me a test ride on an M1100 when I was thinking of buying one. It wasn't even theirs, they borrowed it from someone just for me to have a test ride. Going that extra bit for your customers or potential customers is part of what makes great service.

Their parts dept is great, with a wealth of knowledge about parts and delivery is quick.

The only thing I could possibly fault them on was Bryan's belief that the reason for me finding the Evo less comfortable than the M1100 was due to suspension settings and not because the handlebar riser is 20mm higher. I didn't believe him and persisted with lowering the bars, which resolved my comfort issue. In his defence I very much doubt that he has ridden both bikes as much as I have and my solution was slightly counter intuitive, unless you think carefully about it. How often do you hear of people lowering the bars to make their bike more comfortable for long distance riding?

Quite a lot on cycles, and when you think about it for motorbikes it'll lower you over the bike allowing the wind to lift you a little not try and sweep you off the back like a sail.

I guess it'll also rotate you in the saddle putting the pressure on different parts of you sitting bones and the like...

Absolutely correct, but it's not what many people first think. The standard touring adjustments for many are comfy seat, higher bars and taller screen.

Balancing the weight distribution between the points of contact (hands, feet, backside) is essential to reduce pressure related pain that can be induced when riding for long periods.

Apologies, a little off topic. Lets get back to praising Moto Rapido.

Hi all,

Time for belts for the S4, do I have to phone and place an order? I can't seem to do it online.

Thanks in advance.

They sometimes sell service kits on ebay. To be honest it's easier to give them a call, I buy all my spares from them, really great service. They've never let me down and that counts for a lot in my book.

Is that only for Monster parts? I've spent a few hundred quid with them on parts for my SS project with probably a bit more to spend yet.
