front brake switch
ok so in the middle of my restoration i discover that the brake light is stuck on.. and its the front micro switch thats jammed.. cant free it off... does anyone know anywhere i can get one if is it ducati only part?

If not you may try maplins or somewhere if you know what your looking for. I know someone found something like that recently but tbh ducati is the correct place and you may be suprised some parts are cheap or reasonable so do try them first then the rest. You dont have to buy remember, you can walk away

i had the same problem, dunno if you've tried, but i sprayed some gt85 in and that un stuck it.

i sprayed loads of different lubricants and concoctions in it... it looks like the button part of the switch has snapped off and so doesnt touch the lever...

Integrated reservoir not seperate. Even if you go to a dealer theyre pennies but Maplins is your best option.

the one i pulled off isnt original.. ducati want £30 for a micro switch!!! thats not pennies lol.. thats a night out!!!

Thats a cheap night out!lol. Maplins or e-bay it is then. But these switches are usually universal to a lot of bikes, not just Ducati.

Mine failed at MOT so off to Maplins. £1.99!! Absolute bargain. Buy some heat shrink and a quick solder and Bob's your uncle...

ok.. new switch installed.. but.. there seems to be a hole where some sort of push rod should be for the lever to touch the switch???
