M600

Hi guys
New to ducati and the forum, bought a 1995 M600 the other day with a view of restoring it. Paintwork was realy good but the rest of the bike was tatty. Unfortunatly on the way home one of the straps snapped and the bike came off the trailer and trashed the near pristine tank amongst a load of other parts. So now looking for a good red tank and a sidestand complete with all the ancillary parts

That sucks!

Early tanks are getting hard to find in good nick, most I've seen recently have dents or rust. The other bits should be easier to find as common with other models of monster

I may sell mine in very good order once I get my other repainted which is going ahead next week It won't be cheap as it's basically to cover costs of a professional respray. No dents in it and has hinge welded by person before and as far as I know no filler been near it
Oh and it's red and would be £250 plus post

Hi Albie
Could you send me some picks to darrenrand@hotmail.com, I'd be very interested. I've been quoted £780 by dream machine to repair the tank and paint it along with the seat cover and mudguard.
Thanks daz
