Just as well I changed my belts.
I put new belts on my recently acquired 600 today and I found that the existing horizontal bety was way too tight. I struggled to get a 2mm key past the roller!
I reckon it will take me half an hour next time I do it. A little tip for other newbies...... There are convenient recesses in the castings beneath the adjusters that allow a screwdriver to be inserted into the slot on the adjuster to help gently lever the adjuster to the required position. Took it for a good test ride and it hasn`t blown up so I guess I got it right Can`t wait for the cans to arrive now, and the baglux tank cover I bought yesterday. |

You can also put a screw down through the hole in the cases which line up with those convenient recesses to lock the cam in position
