That's really funny.
I've been practising handbrake turns on ice. Nearly got all the way round twice now but running out of ice to practice on. Long live Winter.

We once cooked our Christmas turkey on the barbecue!
Even my barbecue mad husband hasn't felt tempted to go out and scrape the snow off it and fire it up. |

butterscotch Angel delight.... I have an odd fascination with that
Think I'll go and ly down for a while !! And I'm planning what to do with my snow day 2moz, about 4" so far and it's tossing it down. Thinking an amble out in the snow then some errrr VB (unfortunately not Vic Bitter but Visual Basic) a few webby bits and pieces and some db conversions from access to eXist or SQL. Yep an exciting time for all

LOL Don't get me going on butterscotch angel delight
Get a RWD car Nonnie, slight turn of the steering then apply power and you'll spin very gracefully. Something light like the supercharged MR2 rusting away out the back does with or without snow and ice. Must find something else to stick the motor in this year. Over here in the forest we have 5" more ontop of the 6 - 8" already on the ground which is ontop of the more icy compacted 3" at the bottom. The roads .... I think yuck covers it nicely.. All in all a veritable winter wonderland ...

My Skoda was doing the hokey cokey down our road so stayed around the house for most of the time since xmas, I really couldn't face another accident, the ditches around us are pretty large! Had to lug wood home for woodburner and split it, it gets you warm twice! Everything has taken twice as long to do, feeding the chooks etc has taken ages as I've had to break the ice on their water every day. Its brought the rats in too, managed to shoot a large one the other night, you have to hand it to them they are ingenious little sods, they managed to climb up into the feeder getting in under the lid and helped themselves to the layers pellets. Had a hen go broody and hatch two chicks but unfortunately they were little frozen nuggets when I went out the other morning, she must have left them a bit too long, it was very sad but I couldn't do much to help apart from putting plenty of straw in the house and draught exclude it as much as possible. Last couple of days I've started the spring cleaning so when the weather gets better I don't feel guilty about not cleaning out cupboards, I hate housework!

Been putting a Myspace page together for a client, seeing as it's still too nippy to go out on the bike.
