update 29.03.09
Just thought I'd add pictures of my new nose fairing that I've added to give me more protection for decent motorway runs.
I'm not sure about the fairing but I gather the general consensus is that monster looks better without it. I think the sticker donated by Geoff (cheers) adds a bit of jazz to it. Also great day for a ride out - scenic picture is from Denshaw / Saddleworth - great ride today.

It does look better without, though a black screen could be what it needs?

It also helps in protecting clocks and electrics from the elements.

Just returned back home from riding up and down the a635 - it doesn't get any better.
Any why did I ride that road today - because I covered 24 miles of the pennine way on foot yesterday and Friday. Here's a sample vid (slight compression) with my bullet camera that I setup and played around with last weekend. It's really just a short sample of my bike in 1st and 2nd gear with standard pipes: http://albums.phanfare.com/isolated/...902381/3693284
