Dodgy electrics!

Can anyone help please? I stripped the rear lights from my 2002 600 monster to chop the tail but when I refitted the lights nothing at the rear end worked? the fronts were fine? I did the normal thing, wiggle the wires all the way along but this only made things worse and now the dash lights and front indicators have stopped too! The bike runs fine, and the dipped and main headlight work??
any help would be greatly received.

Maybe caught or trapped (or hopefully not cut through) a wire so check for damage and check your fuses as it sounds as though a fuse may be blown
