Fuel Line Diameter - Quick Release Couplings
I have been advised to change my quick release fuel couplings on my 2006 S4RS tank as they are old and as they age they become brittle.
I presume I will have to also replace the clips that secure the fuel lines to the couplings and I will need to order some hose clips, but I am not sure what diameter the fuel pipes are... ...can anyone tell me please? Thank you |

If you are replacing the couplings it is worthwhile replacing plastic ones with metal equivalents, they are expensive but the risk with a broken plastic one is a fire hazard as any leaking fuel will drop straight onto the vertical cylinder exhaust pipe. Sorry cannot help with the size of pipe for S4RS exotica.

You should be able to find what you need here:
https://www.tom-parker.co.uk/product...c-couplings/2/ The pipe is usually 8mm internal diameter.

As for the female, in-tank fitting (for 916) it is the NPT threaded version, part number should be cLCD10004V but check this as there are NPT and BPST versions. As said this is for the 916 range so S4 may be different.
