Early 900 exhaust bungs

Hi All

I've got a set of Silmotor headers for the 900 which don't have the sensor bungs in them. When I contacted Silmotor they said that's correct you just use your old ones. Well after trying to remove them I had to admit defeat and give up.

I then measured them and bought some metric ss ones off ebay which don't fit. Looking on ducati website they are pennies new which isn't problem however if prefer some ss ones to match the exhaust. In the part description it uses the term 1/8 and now I'm wondering if they are actually an imperial size...

Part number 78010091A

Anyone know and if so where I can purchase two that will fit please?

Cheers Ben

That sounds to me like 1/8" gas or BSP.
It would follow that it has to match gas monitoring equipment which will most likely use BSP fittings.

I did quick google for "1/8 gas bung" and a plethora came up, also the same when adding Stainless Steel to the search.
Not sure if it's like a big grub screw or has a head, but Accu do one which would do the job (among many others.) https://www.accu.co.uk/imperial-flat...xoCYXcQAvD_BwE

P.S. Thanks again to the person that gave me the definition of plethora, it means a lot.

Thanks Gazza I'll check them out. Like an idiot I just assumed that they would be metric.

Pretty sure they're 1/8 BSP.

I lost one of them from my 916 exhaust (same bungs, I think) and when I got a replacement it wouldn't go in cleanly as the threads were galled.

I bought a 1/8 BSP tap to clean it out and it went in nicely after that.
