That's just nuts, makes me worry i'm going to get a bill for damaging a load of stinging nettles in a ditch

Doesn't sound like the deer was edible either, all that venison gone to waste. Nettle soup is very good for you, all that iron, although I don't think diesel fumes would add to the flavour.
