Fork oil sepcs.

I have a '93 m900 with the early non adjustable Golden Showa forks. I know what the Haynes Book of Lies quoteth, but what would anyone else recommend as far as fork oil types, weight and amount?

Hi Space,

Had a look in my Ducati workshop manual and it seems Haynes have got it right.....

SS8 and a quantity of 457cc.

But it doesn't say anything about increasing the quantity to 487cc to improve performance like Haynes do.
