Staffordshire resurrection?!
I have a 2012 reg m796 that unfortunately had to be SORN'd three years back when I hit on some money issues. I'm now looking to get her up and running again and am looking for a good mechanic/dealer to take on the work (I don't have the facilities to do the work myself). I live in the Staffordshire area and had previously taken my bike to the Ducati dealer in Kingswinford, prior to them becoming a non-Ducati house. I'm aware that there is now a Ducati dealer in Stoke-on-Trent, however wondered if anyone here had any other recommendations. My bike has been sitting under covers but outside and although I'm hopeful may well still require a bit of a rebuild to make her roadworthy once more.

Just a bit up the road from you in Stoke on Trent is JackHammer Motorcycles, independant Ducati specialist they say.
Might be worth a call or drop in and see what you think of them, you'll be looking at a fullish service (belts, change of oil & filter, brake fluid and a freshvbattery as a bare minumim plus tyres). You might well be able to just get what's needed though than 'everything' from a full service all at once. Otherwise there is DMC who are accredited Ducati dealers, they might be more expensive though. I'm sure there will be other thoughts on this.

Chris who owns Jack Hammer is great to deal with, and he operates a collection service. The premises aren't much to look at but the work is good, and the prices reasonable.

I’m in Stone, good to hear of a local club member. DMC Stoke were great with me, I’d have a chat with them on Jack Hammer.....I am sure this time of year is a quiet time for both.

Thank you all for the replies - it sounds like I need to give JackHammer a call.

From experience of a purchaser I’d avoid Ducati Stoke.
