Have to agree the 1000 DS engine is a peach, I had the superspurt for a while, I did consider that Monster 1000 thanks, but looking closer someone has gone nuts with silver spray can on the crank cases even covering the rubber bung in the swingarm pivot!
Also not a great fan of that later generation ECU with the immobiliser et al.
