You can go further, and make up a starter cable 700mm long, which can be routed over the engine and down the left side to the starter, rendering it almost invisible.

Thanks all for your comments and feedback. I like the idea of cleaning up the belt side using the Hypermotard oil lines and extending the starter cable. Thanks for the suggestion
