As Luddite has correctly said- it is the charger that will dictate which connectors you will need on the battery lead. Unless you have a specific reason for swapping them.

I am pretty sure if you have a Motobatt charger or a late model Optimate then you will need the 01 SAE connector. If it’s an earlier Optimate then it’s likely (unless first generation which used Molex) to be TM71 which are commonly known as Tamiya connectors because they are widely used for their radio control car batteries.

Personally I’m not a fan of the SAE type as they’re moulded and cannot be repaired or extended easily without buying a complete lead so have swapped all mine to TM’s keeping things interchangeable between my bikes and chargers.
