I changed my clutch slave for an Oberon. The hose dangled all winter and I gave it the odd squirt of clutch and brake cleaner. Nothing but clean c+b cleaner dripped from the end. Then I bled new fluid through a clean hose into a new slave.....Still it goes black within weeks..

I've got a Factory Racing slave which I intend fitting soon, so I will be interested to see if the fluid still discolours. I usually change mine before it goes black, but it soon gets darker than the brake fluid. I wonder if a bigger reservoir would help, if there is more fluid then it won't get contaminated to the same level so quickly?
