Total transformation looking great now. The original was yes pig ugly, but I never "Got" what the designer was trying to create, it had no lines just bits going in & out all over. i.e. The bottom line of the fairing, has a defined kink which kind of looks like damage to me. So yes you've done the right thing. Bitza.
