I left them with penetrating spray on over the weekend, and cracked the threads on them all last night. I was certainly concerned about rounding off, or worse, snapping one off!
As for the clutch slave, mine's the early type. I'll be trying hard not to dribble fluid all over the engine case - last time I bled one of these I managed to take the paint off!
