Just popped in to see Steve at Image Design Custom this afternoon and, in amongst all the Harley tanks and another Henry Cole chopper for the next series of "The Motorbike Show", I spotted this little beauty on the shelf (talk about a diamond in the rough!):

Steve wasn't sure of the origins of this one but I looked up the name "Beater" from the name plate and found it's from a Japanese manufacturer and currently retails at ¥300,000 (about £2,100, before transport and taxes).

From the jottings on the tank, it looks like it'll be painted in a version of the Corse scheme of red, white and black.
Steve couldn't remember who it was for, only that it was from an S4R - anyone on here I wonder?
Beautiful workmanship and feather light too - very nice.
